Growth Action is a coalition of individuals, homeowners associations, civic and environmental organizations formed in 2007 who work together to monitor growth and development in Anne Arundel County. The coalition is a project of the Arnold Preservation Council a non-profit organization. Growth Action does not speak or act for its members, but operates by consensus .  Each member takes positions on issues following its own by-laws and mission. The main work of Growth Action is to share information with members and the public about growth and how it may be directed and managed.
